In the 1980's the sexual revolution was finally making it's way into mainstream America. We watched T&A television; listened to Madonna, dressed in her underwear, sing about virgin-like sex; and accepted the realities of alternative lifestyles. Excess was in vogue and no more was that more apparent than in our sex lives.
While adolescent America was hanging posters of thong clad supermodels on its bedroom walls, adult America was discovering the real benefits of VHS machines. Hardcore porn could be scene in the privacy of your own home. With the dawn of the decade, porn was in the middle of its greatest era, referred to as "The Golden Age". Performers now included young, beautiful women like Ginger Lynn, Shauna Grant, Blondi, Victoria Paris, Loni Sanders, Tracey Adams, Nikki Charm, Cody Nicole, Hyapatia Lee, Stacey Donovan and Amber Lynn. Stars from the 70's like Annette Haven, Lisa DeLeeuw, Vanessa del Rio, Seka and Georgina Spelvin became superstars in the 80's. And then there were the MILFS: Kay Parker, Nina Hartley, Aunt Peg and Ona Zee.
